Tree Removal:
A whole tree removal may be needed for many reasons such as poor tree placement, the tree is dead or dying, a construction project, roots interfering with house/building foundation or sewage lines, etc. Whatever the reason, we have the experience and equipment to safely remove your tree.
Tree Pruning:
Tree pruning is at the heart of our business! Proper pruning can be immensely beneficial to your trees health and longevity. Being ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborists, we know the proper recommended methods of tree pruning. Whether it is trimming a tree for roof clearance, or removing the dead and diseased limbs from your tree, we can trim your trees so they look their best & retain their health.
Stump Grinding:
After a tree is removed, there is usually a stump with roots still in the ground. These stumps can take years and even decades to fully decompose and rot out. Using a machine specifically designed to grind out the tree’s stump and roots, we can completely eliminate your trees stump.
Support Cables:
We regularly install support cables in trees as a means to stabilize faulty branch development. Co-Dominant stems and trees that have developed splits are prone to failure, installing a cable can prevent this, and add years to your tree. In addition, trees that have suffered stress fractures as a result of high winds can also be good candidates for cables. If there are safety concerns with your tree, a cable may be a better option, than a whole tree removal.
Preconstruction Site Analysis:
Construction sites are tough places for trees to survive. Often times after a home has been built, the trees soon after die. Generally this is because heavy construction equipment has compacted the soil around the tree causing lower water percolation and suppressed oxygen availability to the roots. It could also be that the soil grade has changed and the roots are now buried too deep. In addition to these there are environmental factors to consider as well. We can work with the construction crew to help you save your trees; however if the damage is already done, we also have techniques that can revive your stressed tree.
Tree Fertilization:
Trees often need various fertilizations to supplement their own natural defenses. We use various micro-injections to apply fertilizers including macro-micro nutrients, antibiotics, fungicides, insecticides, and other single nutrient supplements such as iron and nitrogen for stressed trees. Our injections have some of the highest success rates when compared to other methods of application. Absorption rates are extremely high, and we can directly control the amount of active ingredients that are being applied to the tree.
Vegetation Management and Right-Of-Way Clearance:
Often trees in easements and greenspaces require a special kind of trimming to prevent them from encroaching into power and cable lines. We can provide this clearance and properly maintain your right-of-way. You can trust that we will acquire any necessary permits for road or lane closures, as well as safe traffic control during the operation.
Municipality Contracts:
Cities and Municipalities that need street trees trimmed, raised, or removed as they advance into easements can rely on us for effective, quality, and long term results. No matter how small or large the contract may be, we are experts in vegetation management, and we perform our work to the highest of ISA, OSHA, and ANSI standards.
