We started our business in 2004 out of a desire to offer a better
service than was currently available. We know there are numerous
tree care companies in the Kansas City area, but you will find none
that compare to us. From the start, we have never tried to compete
with these other companies; rather we wanted to offer something
different. A professional, practical, and ethical tree care company.
There are no ‘high pressure’ sales tactics with us, and we do not try
and sell tree jobs that are unnecessary. We genuinely care for your
trees.
We started small and have grown over the years, but we have never
strayed from our founding principal: to provide people with a better
choice in tree care. We are still a family owned and operated
business, and we have put together a great team of Arborists and
tree care professionals that you can trust.
We are constantly furthering our education in arboriculture because
new developments and diseases are always being discovered, and
we want to be able to properly assess your trees. We are also
Certified Arborists, which means we have passed an extensive exam
given by the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) that tests
knowledge from tree biology to the proper tree care techniques.
Certified Arborists are rare due to the difficulty of certification, and
because 30 hours of CEUs (continuing education units) must be
attained every three years or the certification is revoked. The CEUs,
however, are at the heart of being a Certified Arborist. To attain the
necessary CEUs you have to attend tree care seminars, and read
books and journals, and take subsequent tests to show your keeping
up with the latest standards. This process keeps us on top of the
latest breakthroughs in tree sciences, thus we can offer the best for
our clients.
Finally, we know we may not always be the cheapest estimate you
get, even though we offer some of the lowest tree care prices
around. Being known as the cheapest is not our ultimate goal; we
want to be known as the best. Its been our motto since the
